I have long returned home from the September travels I enjoyed with your staff and arrangements. I want to thank you specifically for how you handled a very challenging medical situation with my family.
You never hesitated, and rather insisted on taking us to a clinic to receive the best medical attention in Katmandu, before our journey began.

Your patience with our temporary illness and acclimitization was incredible. You continued to rearrange our travel schedule, hotels and services to accomodate us, including suggestions of alternative trips and local sites to keep us engaged in what we'd come to do, which was visit Nepal!

Unfortunately, my brother was not able to continue with me to do our delayed trek. All through this difficulty, you were available, finding ways and gestures to adapt the trip.

I can't thank you enough for your kindness and carefulness. In the end I went with your guides who were superb and understanding that I needed support to do the trip without my brother.

The guides, the delayed trip, the rearrangements were handled so smoothly You provided more than reliable service, you are compassionate and caring.

Ici comme ailleurs, je suis une adepte du commerce de proximité. Responsible Treks avait laissé de ses dépliants à ma guesthouse. Je me suis rendue à l’agence pour prendre de l'information et tâter le terrain. Le contact s’est fait instantanément avec Daniel (un Catalan est à l'Espagne ce qu'un Québécois est au Canada, non?), spécialisé sur le Tibet. Je retourne le lendemain pour rencontrer l'agent qui s'occupe du Népal puisque mon objectif est d'y faire un court trek. Je lui fait confiance; marché conclu avec Chhewang pour la randonnée Ghorepani-Poon Hill.

Puis la grève indéfinie lancée par les Maoïstes le lendemain du 1er mai ont changé la donne. Chhewang a su s'adapter à la situation, me proposer un autre itinéraire alternative, m'inspirer confiance et prendre à coeur ses responsabilités de même que l'aspect service après vente. Alors que le pays a été pratiquement paralysé pendant une semaine côté transport et institutions financières, celui-ci a su me rembourser rubis sur l'ongle (trek plus court), me fournir de l'aide pour la confirmation de mes billets d'avion et m'assurer d'un éventuel accompagnement sécuritaire à l'aéroport advenant l'absence de taxis.

J'ai vraiment pris plaisir à faire affaire avec l'équipe de Responsible Treks, une équipe comme je les aime : jeune, dynamique, compétente et sympathique. Nord-américaine de culture et latine de tempérament (lire j'aime l'efficacité et ne suis pas trés patiente...), je suis une cliente de nature exigeante. Puisque j'ai été pleinement satisfaite, j'ose croire que vous le serez aussi!

De plus, j'ai été ravie de l'accueil personnalisé reçu lors de mes visites chez Responsible Treks (je m'ennuie du milk tea et du jasmine tea). Après huit séjours au Népal, je peux maintenant dire avec un grand bonheur : j'ai trouvé mon agence de voyage à Katmandou!
