Liability
Responsible Treks Pvt. Ltd. is an adventure travel company. While we take every reasonable precaution to ensure the safety and comfort of our clients, we shall not be held liable for any unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to accidents, loss, damage, delays, inconvenience, personal injury or illness, excess baggage charges, rerouting, adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, political unrest, war, strikes, riots, or any disturbances that may result in additional personal expenses.
By participating in our trips, clients acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with adventure travel and visiting remote or foreign destinations. Participants agree to release Responsible Treks Pvt. Ltd., along with its partners, suppliers, guides, and agents, from any claims, liabilities, or causes of action arising from injury, loss, damage, or death related to such risks.
Complaints
In the unlikely event of any complaints, clients are requested to inform their guide or our local representative immediately so that appropriate action can be taken. All complaints must be raised during the trip or before departure; claims made after completion of the trip may not be considered.
Price
All prices are as stated in the offer at the time of booking. However, Responsible Treks reserves the right to revise prices in the event of significant increases in operational costs due to changes in foreign exchange rates, government taxes, permit fees, or other external factors beyond our control.
Insurance
Responsible Treks ensures that all our staff members are adequately insured. We strongly recommend that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering accidents, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellations, and loss or damage to personal belongings.
Clients traveling without insurance must accept fully responsibility for any medical or emergency expenses incurred, including evacuation and transportation costs.
Payment and Refund policy
Booking Confirmation
To confirm your booking with Responsible Treks pvt. Ltd., a non-refundable deposit of 20 % of the total trip cost is generally required.
Final payment
The remaining balance is typically due 30 days prior to the start of your trip, unless otherwise specified by your Tour Manager.
For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
All last-minute bookings (within 30 days) are non-refundable.
Payment Terms & Fees
Credit card payments incur an additional 3.5 % processing fee.
Payment must be made only from the traveler’s own account.
Responsible Treks reserves the right to refuse certain forms of payment if necessary.
Wire transfer must be fully covered by the client.
