We did a semi custom trip (11 day) for three with some moderate trekking in Annapurna region, tiger safari in Bardia NP, with some cultural activities in Kathmandu. The trip was well organized and flexible. I only provided some general guidance on my desires and Chhewang made suggestions and tied it all together after some feedback from me. We all enjoyed the trekking and the tiger safari, where we we able to see 4 tigers in the wild over 2 days.
Our trip was interrupted by the covid-19 virus with us being one of the last tour groups. Luckily it was near the end of trip, but there were several scares that the airport would be shutdown to international flights. Chhewang and others were very supportive and helpful in altering the last few days of our trip to try to leave early. We ended up making it out about 36 hrs before the airport closed.
We will consider using the company again for a future trip to Bhutan.

It’s been a 14 days trek, rather challenging for both me and my partner as neighter of us did this before. Although it was worth is. The landscape was breathtaking. Our guide, Keshab, was very helpful and we rearranged our itinerary so we don’t go over our bodily limits. Thant was nice and made it even more enjoyable.

Thanks to Responsible Treks and especially the extremely freindly, experienced and highly skilled guide Rikzin Lama, I had an out of this world beautiful and challenging experience.

Many thanks for an adventure of a lifetime with my father. From the wonderful garden of Rokpa Guest House with the loveliest young people doing their utmost to keep all guests happy to an out of this world 6-day trek up to 3900m. Led by two young gentlemen who made this person with a fear of heights often forget her fear and concentrate on the beautiful mountains. 4 friends and myself, from the Bask Country in Spain agreed with them to go for the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek, a journey that would last 11 days. The price was quite reasonable -even with 3 porters- but it was specially remarkable the professional and friendly approach of Sonam, from the agency who took care of us during the complete period, from our arrival to Kathmandu until we left the country. He really did a great job hosting us with the closeness that you can hardly find in other cultures.
All of it, unbeatable experience with him and his team: Great country, excellent people and highly recommendable agency.
You might find something similar, but I would be surprised if it is better!

From start to finish my tour organised by Chhewang was seamless and for me effortless. I was very well looked after by my guide Keshab and can’t thank him enough. The responsible trek team communicated everything clearly and consistently where I never felt a worry or not looked after. The trek itself was created and catered specifically to my wishes and the time I had available. I loved every experience, and was lucky to observe many cultural customs as it was the time of the festival.
