Lapchi Kang is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in Himalayan Buddhism. Its hidden deep in the high Himalayas on the Nepal-Tibet (China border). Buddhists revered as one of the three great snow mountains (alongside Kailash and Tsari), Lapchi Kang is intimately associated with the great yogi Milarepa, who attained enlightenment through intense meditation in its caves.
